ALPHARETTA, Georgia — Operated by Atrium Hospitality, the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel and Spa in Glendale, Arizona, has completed a nine-month, multimillion-dollar renovation. Encompassing a water and earth theme with modern enhancements, the 324-key hotel’s makeover spanned all guest accommodations, the lobby, common areas, conference center, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants and bars, and 100,000 square feet of meeting space.

Upon arrival, the hotel’s transformed, modern lobby provides a welcoming environment with generous seating. The extensive makeover features stylish furniture, fixtures and textiles; clean lines; plentiful LED lighting; and unique artwork, wall installations, and large video screens with time-lapsed desert scenes. The newly renovated and rebranded Desert Sage Restaurant and Bar offers indoor and outdoor seating and serves seasonally themed dishes infused with a Southwestern flair.
The AAA Four Diamond-awarded Renaissance Phoenix Glendale’s guest room count increased by four keys during the makeover to now include 278 rooms and 46 suites. Improved guest accommodations include ample charging stations, more room options with walk-in showers, 55-inch smart TVs for easy streaming, updated lighting fixtures, new pillowtop beds, functional desks and moveable work surfaces. Some rooms include balconies with views of the Arizona landscape.
As a new premium upgrade, the Glendale hotel now has 10 Pure Wellness guest accommodations that incorporate science and technology to treat the surface and air in rooms.
The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel and Spa provides onsite meeting planners to help plan events, and the hotel offers 100,000 square feet of newly upgraded indoor meeting space, featuring high ceilings, no columns and subdividable options.
The Media Center Ballroom is the largest event space and can be configured for a range of gatherings, including 3,400 in theater style, 2,700 in banquet rounds, and 1,690 in classroom style. The hotel also provides 8,000 square feet of outdoor event space, including the newly added Aurora Circle. The customizable, year-round space seats 400 in banquet rounds and connects to the indoor Aurora Ballroom.
