Riverhouse to Reopen as Riverhouse on the Deschutes

BEND, Oregon — Bend’s hotel and convention center overlooking the picturesque Deschutes River will debut a new name when it reopens to the public following a comprehensive renovation. The destination, which is currently undergoing a complete refresh to provide guests with a refined experience, will reopen as Riverhouse on the Deschutes, paying homage to its setting.

The Riverhouse team began an extensive $10 million renovation of the property late in 2015, encompassing a full redesign of its rooms and suites and a complete remodeling of the hotel’s public spaces. This included the reconstruction of its on-site restaurant, which will open as Currents, a reimagined dining destination. The refurbished Riverhouse on the Deschutes will feature accommodations with authentic Northwestern flair, refined amenities and river views, welcoming guests to enjoy riverfront lodging.

In coming months, in addition to its new name and physical renovations, the Riverhouse will debut new branding, a new logo and a new website to complete its full brand redesign.
