MAUI, Hawaii— The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua recently announced the final phase of a $100 million resort-wide renovation – which includes new guestrooms, dining experiences, public spaces and a transformation of the resort’s indoor-outdoor event space – that is set to be unveiled by the end of 2022.
“The driving force behind this project is providing our guests with an unrivaled experience that can only be found in Kapalua,” said Andrew Rogers, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. “This transformation brings new beauty and new energy to our surrounding environment as the entire resort celebrates our unique sense of place.”
Guests will be greeted by the all-new lobby lanai, featuring unobstructed views of Honokahua Bay from multiple seating areas, complete with firepits.
The resort will open The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge at the Anuenue Room this month. This new Club Lounge offers a private, indoor-outdoor, weather-protected area for guests with club access, complete with dedicated concierge and five food and beverage presentations daily.
The new guest rooms, suites and residences all offer private terraces and updated room interiors that infuse The Ritz-Carlton sophistication with Hawaiian influence. The resort will also debut The Fire Lanai Collection, a new premium room category, in November.
The resort’s 10,000-square-foot reimagined pool area features three zero-edge pools connected by waterfalls, each with in-water lounges and surrounding seating options. The resort also recently debuted seven custom designed luxury cabanas.
Guests looking to host an event can choose from 20 indoor and outdoor meeting rooms. As part of the resort-wide renovation, the hotel has transformed the 19,000-square-foot Aloha Garden Pavilion – one of the only indoor-outdoor event venues on Maui. The Aloha Garden Pavilion features a new interior with state-of-the-art audiovisual, bi-folding glass doors opening onto a garden with terrazzo-paved walkway, two fire pits and new trellis with glass canopies.
