ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey — TJM Atlantic City added a third property to its portfolio with the purchase of the Radisson Philadelphia Northeast, a 274-room property in Trevose in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Located 20 miles from Center City Philadelphia, the hotel caters to business travelers and conference attendees, as well as families visiting nearby attractions such as Sesame Place.
The recently formed hotel management company purchased the Radisson for $15 million. TJM Atlantic City is a subsidiary of TJM Properties, a privately held real-estate firm in Clearwater, Florida.
“We are expanding and building a varied portfolio that will include individual hotels, branded properties and resorts,” said Cem Erenler, vice president of operations and business development for TJM Atlantic City. TJM purchased the Claridge in 2014 for $12.5 million and implemented a multimillion-dollar renovation. Plans call for a new conference center to be added to the landmark property. The company also owns the Atlantic Club, formerly the Hilton Hotel and Casino.
The Radisson Philadelphia Northeast is located near the major intersection of Lincoln Highway (U.S. Route 1) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 276), providing easy access to the area’s corporate and leisure markets. The hotel is 23 miles from Philadelphia International Airport and 42.8 miles from Lehigh Valley International Airport. The area is known for its natural beauty, historic attractions, shopping and entertainment and its proximity to prominent universities.
With 20,000 square feet of versatile meeting and function space, the Radisson Philadelphia Northeast can host a range of functions, from conferences of up to 800 to trade shows, galas, weddings and social events. The hotel offers 19 meeting rooms, including the Forest Ballroom, the largest hotel ballroom facility in the area.
