Two New Venues Opening in Lubbock This Year (Sponsored)

Complete with indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a pool, restaurant and courtyard activities, this space will be a premiere venue to host events.

After several years of envisioning a performing arts venue that would house acclaimed entertainment and revolutionary performances in a facility designed by world-renowned architects, come fall 2020, the vision will come to fruition. Designed for local, national and international entertainment and arts education, The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences will house 222,000 square feet of space, making it an ideal venue for any size event or meeting. Located in downtown Lubbock, Buddy Holly Hall will house a large main theater with 2,200 seats, a studio theater with 425 seats and a multipurpose event room equipped with 6,000 sub-dividable square feet of functional space functional for receptions, lectures, meetings, conferences and more. The Buddy Holly Hall will also have a bistro and spacious main lobby that accommodates 300 seated people for banquets, weddings and galas.
