Unexpected is What Boise Does Best

Sponsored Content

People love meeting in Boise for many reasons. For starters, our city is an urban oasis in the middle of the Mountain West. It’s a gathering place for dreamers, creators and adventurers. You can meet with colleagues in the morning and meander along the trails in the afternoon. Visitors love that each time they come to Boise, they experience something new. Around here, unexpected is what we do best.

Boise has many surprises in the works. A new eight-story boutique hotel called Hotel Renegade will soon open with 124 rooms, a restaurant, meeting spaces, a wellness center and two bars, including a rooftop bar with an outdoor patio. Hotel Renegade will join 55 other hotels that are near Boise Centre—Idaho’s largest convention and meeting venue—with 31 flexible meeting rooms!

Come summer, visitors can dine at The Warehouse in between meetings, a trendy new culinary hub in the heart of downtown. This food hall will feature more than 20 local restaurants and retail shops, and serve as an extension of the city’s famous 8th street dining district.

The Warehouse features more than 20 local restaurants and retail shops, with even more nearby.

Close to Boise Centre, along with The Warehouse, you’ll find 100 additional restaurants nearby, as well as bars, shops, wineries, breweries and all kinds of entertainment. The Boise River is within walking distance too, as is the Boise Greenbelt, a 25-mile pathway perfect for walking, jogging, biking or riding an electric scooter next to the river.

If you’re thinking about planning a meeting during the warmer months, summer in Boise can’t be beat. With a mountain river flowing through our city, sidewalk cafes, art and farmer’s markets, there’s no shortage of summer activities here. The city is right next to Boise National Forest, which offers endless trails for hiking and mountain biking. We have a whitewater park right downtown, too, where you can surf — yes, surf — and kayak.

To make it easier to get to Boise, we have a new nonstop flight from Southern California. Avelo Airlines and Alaska Airlines are now offering nonstop service four days a week between Boise and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). Boise also has nonstop service to and from 25 other destinations, including Atlanta, San Diego, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and Austin. Not only that, but our airport is only ten minutes from downtown, making getting here even easier.

When you combine all Boise has to offer with our wide range of meeting spaces, you have the perfect place to host your next meeting. You can choose from a variety of flexible spaces, which vary in size and style. Our team at Boise Convention & Visitors Bureau will make your planning and meeting experience collaborative and easy. Come find out why so many meeting planners choose our affordable, walkable downtown for their meetings and events.
