HILLIARD, Ohio— WatersEdge Event and Conference Center in Hilliard, Ohio, recently opened The Cove, a new event space that brings the venue to a total of 20,000 square feet.
The Cove features a nearly 3,300-square-foot ballroom with a marble-style epoxy floor, contemporary chandeliers and a built-in bar that deliver the space’s mid-century and industrial feel. Floor-to-ceiling windows open to a courtyard that overlooks the neighboring lake. The ballroom can seat 200 for banquets and offers two additional suites.
WatersEdge owners decided to expand the venue to accommodate the growing need for large event spaces in central Ohio and to offer companies of all sizes a memorable space for corporate events. The venue provides all-inclusive and full-service planning assistance for meetings and corporate events.
The event center sits on 9.5 acres in the northwest Columbus suburb and offers multiple indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Lakeview Ballroom features 24-foot-high vaulted ceilings, a two-story fireplace that’s open on two sides, floor-to-ceiling windows that deliver views of the lake and open to the adjoining Overlook deck. The ballroom can accommodate events for up to 350 and seat 225 for banquets.
The 1,540-square-foot Trueman Room and 1,230-square-foot Cedar Room can serve as smaller meeting spaces or breakout rooms.
