The John S. Knight Center has been welcoming convention planners, tradeshow exhibitors and event attendees to the heart of downtown since 1994. The Center has 123,000 sq. ft. of customizable space, including exhibition space, large ballrooms, a green room for speakers and breakout rooms. Our second floor offers a 28,000 sq. ft., column-free exhibit hall and two ballrooms. The first floor has 18 meeting rooms and an open concourse with a stunning rotunda.

The John S. Knight Center is located in downtown Akron and is within walking distance of multiple area attractions, nightlife and amazing restaurants. Lock 3 recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation and is the place to be on summer evenings for live music and downtown fun. Love sports? Catch a game at Canal Park, home of the Akron RubberDucks, the Double-A Minor League Baseball Affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. Greater Akron is filled with live music options, so visitors can enjoy live performances at Blossom Music Center, Blu Jazz+, Jilly’s, Musica, Akron Civic Theatre, E.J. Thomas Hall – to name a few. Don’t forget about unique shopping, one-of-a-kind restaurants and some of the coolest speakeasys around, like the Watson, Northside Speakeasy and Vacancy (if you can find them)!
