Groups looking for a meaningful team-building opportunity can volunteer with The Food Project in Massachusetts to help grow food and increase sustainability in the local communities around Boston.
The Food Project’s group volunteering efforts focus on growing food for hunger relief organizations and local communities through their Serve & Grow program. Attendees can head out to one of the farms for the morning and get involved with farming activities like planting in the Spring or harvesting the crops in the Fall.
Their service-learning opportunities focus on collaboration, building respect for diversity and helping attendees feel good about the work they’re doing by taking part in philanthropic efforts. The change in environment will also foster new skills and creative thinking that they can bring back to the office.
