A recent report revealed how road warriors really felt about their overall business trip experiences. The results stayed positive with 73 percent satisfied with their meetings experience, according to the GBTA Business Traveler Sentiment Index Global Report, in partnership with American Express.
This stat compares to 71 percent satisfaction in 2015.
The study also revealed that 77 percent of business travelers felt able to meet their goals on a business trip. Those that felt they failed to meet their goals sited poor Wi-Fi access (46 percent), clearer objectives (42 percent) and more time with clients (40 percent) as some of the major reasons why they didn’t find the results they wanted.
Other findings:
- About 51 percent of business travelers prefer to spend flights doing something other than work.
- When asked about social media, 50 percent reported using social media once or more per day for work-related purposes.
- Looking ahead, 92 percent said they would travel the same amount or more in the future.
