FRENCH LICK, Ind. – The historic meeting destination that once hosted an event for Franklin D. Roosevelt revealed its latest event venue updates with the site’s expanded Meeting and Event Center. The $20 million addition adds 58,000 square feet of meeting space to the 19th-century hotel.
Attendees to both French Lick Springs Hotel and West Baden Springs Hotel can utilize the now 163,000 total square feet of customizable meeting and event space. Among the additions includes a new 22,000 square foot adjustable ballroom.
“Since the $560 million restoration of French Lick Springs Hotel and West Baden Springs Hotel eight years ago, creating French Lick Resort, group business has always been an important part of the equation,” said Adina Cloud, director of sales. “This latest expansion allows us to accommodate national conventions and large corporations who require a larger space than we could previously offer.”
The event center’s space now features 27 meeting rooms, such as the 31,00-square-foot Exhibition Center, the 22,600-square-foot Hoosier Ballroom, the 12,700-square-foot Windsor Ballroom, the 6,700-square-foot Clifton Ballroom and 18 breakout rooms at various sizes.
